Artificial Intelligence seems be an almost daily topic of conversation for many businesses. One day it claims to be the answer to all challenges: promising to help you better engage with your customers, achieve operational efficiency and disrupt competitors with insightful new products.
At other times, it seems to only risk multiplying current headaches with additional issues of unpredictability, safety, privacy, and ethics. In this talk,Ms. Bird will shed some light on whatis really behind all the hype around AI and how it might impact your business. Shewill give an overview of the some of the major areas of AI including supervised learning, reinforcement learning and deep learning. We will discuss significant advancements occurring in research, the space of intelligent products, and applications of AI in practice.

Augmented and virtual reality always seems to be on the verge of mainstream success. Many of us forget that the first VR experience was built in the early 1960's. There have been many fits and starts over the years, but we are truly just getting started. There are over four million dedicated VR headsets in homes today, and that’s not including the tens of millions of smartphones that are capable of delivering experiences. Join us to hear about applicable business applications of AR and VR and how your business can benefit from them. There will also be a demo table with several VR solutions for a hands-on experience.
